The main site seems to be down, so there might not be many replies, but everyone should come on down tonight. The added bonus is the Dave and Robbie show - add some alcohol and its pure viewing pleasure. The second bonus is that you won't be in an argument with those 2 (this happens about 75% of the time) cause they will be focused on eachother, so you will have a fun stress free evening...hahahaaha. But seriously - come on down...suckas. I will smash you all....

It seems to be an issue with the database. Peter phoned me last night and mentioned there was a problem, and it doesn't seem like it's anything wrong on our end. I emailed the support team at the hosting company and am hoping they reply soon.

What the *bleep*.... I think those idiots who run the server just restored a backup of our database from early last year since the last tournament I see is April 2007. Sending them another email.

You're assuming they were backing up? My experience with hosted systems has been that the mask their incompetence with incompetence

I've been in their support chat room for the last 2 hours with what could quite possibly be a monkey who just happened to learn how to read and type. Things are not looking good at the moment. It seems like the only backup they have is from the last week of April, but 2007.
As a worst case scenario I have to ask, has anyone got a copy of the most recent point totals by user by any chance? I have a backup of my own, but that's from January2008 or so when I was doing a few database fixes myself. I have never met a hosting company that didn't do regular backups so I never would have expected this situation to come up.
