FYI we are going to try and go with Tuesdays @ Rosario's for our foos nite. Hopefully getting back to a consistent day of the week we can get people out on a regular basis. I usually can't get there before 8:15 on Tuesdays  |

Is there a night you can get there for 7:00 - 7:30? |

I also can't get there before 8, that goes for any week night though... Right now we have(or have been told) 6 - 8 people coming for tuesday, if we have at least 8 we will do a DYP and have it wrap up at 11... leaving us 2+ hours to play a few games. if its less maybe we can do a singles tournament... Simon on tuesday we should figure out what night works best for the people that show up... Anyone else interested in being part of a foos night come this tuesday! |

Next semester I will be able to play tuesday nights, but im not back in edmonton until January. |

Mondays and Thursday's I can be there earlier Tuesday/Wednesday/Fridays I usually work till 8pm |

ps- I stripped and cleaned the first table- closest to the door. the balls are still disgusting though, but the table plays ok(still some funky rolls that cleaning can't fix) If we are having a dyp tonite I can do the 2nd table(unless someone else can do it before i get there) pretty basic- wipe clean surface with hot water/rag and clean strip the bars and relube- takes 5 minutes. the balls on the other hand nead alot of tlc |

Talked to Rosario He's pretty sure he has lots- when you show up tonite just ask Joe- and you can swap them out. If he doesn't have enough he will call them for more- not sure if they will make it by tonite though. |

Im actually in Lethbridge until the second semester. We do 16 weeks of rotation as a part of our fourth year curriculum. It sucks as it is basically paying tuition to work and not get paid for it, but I suppose it is one of those necessary evils. I will be in town possibly once before xmas, and then from jan - april. If I stop in I will give a heads up. Although my game is going to be in need of ALOT of work. I will however try to get a hold of my friend doug (christian knows him) in pharmacy. At the end of last year our pharmacy student association bought brian L's old table and it is in our lounge now so there may be some potential interest to recruit from there for DYP and or league... Would be nice to see the scene get going again. Cheers! |
