We just finished the Florida State Tournament.
Probably 60 players or so in total. I am guessing about 10 events over 4 days on 10 Tornado tables. Notables were Bobby Diaz and two of his kids. Jason Lurie and several Central Florida better players as well. The Yore's did not make it unfortunately but I met Mike and John at an Orlando event a few weeks ago and Tom at worlds. Great guys and obviously great players as well.
Yours truly has a little tendonitis in his wrist so only played in four events. I finished third in Goalie Wars and third in Forward Shootout. I got second in Rookie Singles and Second in County Cup Doubles (form a team of two players from the same County in Florida).
Hope you are all well and keep on Foosin'
Regards,
Freddy

The new snake is not full feeding yet.
The old snake is ok but against pro goalies it is a little harder to score. I think that it is time to take Robert's advice and practice my half ball left and half ball right middles. Long pull, long push and imprecise spraying middle looked for rarely is not working too well against them.
Against rookies it is a different story. Mwahahaha.
My God did I hit a nice push side against two Orlando pros that were mocking me and my partner in the County Cup. Fast, deep and freaking loud. My rookie partner and I beat their asses and left them blaming each other afterwards. Sweet!
There is one trash talker here who was banned for refusing to stop talking trash during points despite repeated warnings. He refused to leave so they called the cops on him. He was pretty drunk at the time. The real surprising thing is that he wasn't even Korean. Just kidding. Put down the ICBM you two...
Who wants to run Canadian foosball? I want to run Chinese foosball! 1.3 billion registration fees!

The funniest thing about 1) the China video we posted and 2) a training DVD that we did in Mandarin and gave for free to all the foosball clubs in China, is that these young 10 year old kids that I have never met before all know my name when I meet them for the first time at different events. The young girls follow me from table to table. I tell them all to come back when they are 10 years older!
Yes, I was not going to play in it. Since my wrist was a little sore I only played in a few short singles events and found a good partner for the County Cup doubles so played in that too. I sat out the 6 or 7 other events. Dave you would have won about 3 events easy and had a solid shot in one or two more. Diaz won Open Dubs playing with his 12 year old son. He was complaining on so many referees calls that they should change his name from Bobby Diaz to Baby Diaz. You don't think he reads this forum do you? Ha ha.
My wrist is feeling much better now. A good thing since we are installing the porn channel next week. Did I beat you to the punch line there Johhny Fly Boy?

A reminder of where I am living now.
Since so many of the U.S. chains are now in Canada and even China for that matter (McDonalds, WalMart, Starbucks, etc.) I often forget that I am living in the U.S. these days. That is until I came across this current ad campaign that I have seen on advertising billboards while driving around. The campaign is for: www.WhoCanISue.com
Gulp, welcome to the land of the free Fred!
Ha ha.
Enjoy Canada everyone...
