I was checking out the stats page and went to doubles and singles and our player base as for current players has dropped large. Kinda like the stock market haha. We should have ran tourny's when Nelson and Shane showed up to beef up our stock. PS nice to see "Kid Lightning" out tonight!! And yes Shane, reset the thing to make the site run faster. |

Alot of people I talk to say a similar thing, they are tentative to come out because usually when they do, nobody else is here. Every person who was thinking about maybe came out, did, we would probably have some descent turnouts. Maybe if everyone chimed in to if they were coming down (similar to what has been happening lateley to a bit) the tentatives will return. |

It would be great if everyone who's coming down would post on the site. It's nice to know your coming down for a tourney and not a 6 person funzie night. Regardless, it seems like enough of the regulars rarely show up now which has left even more of the regulars unmotivated to show up as the turnout has suffered. Here's what I figure, we should try announcing a big tourney day this December, but not basing it around the dude from China, now living in Florida, who's name escapes me... (fred-rock?) He's a great guy, but why not have a 20 person turnout for the Vancouver foosball community's sake? If we announce it far enough in advance, enough of us should be able to set the night free. We could maybe get all the regulars out and maybe some of the guys when get to see once in a while, like tench, lloyd, glen, pete k, pete t. etc... Who's up for setting a date for a proper Vancouver Foosball Community tourney in December?? We could set the time and the specifics (i.e. pro-am draw, byp, two-ball etc..) in advance and do it up right. I vote for calling it the Monthly Fred-Rock Vancouver Invitational Foosball Classic or MFRVIVC for short. |

That sounds good to me, but how do we the tentatives to start posting on the sight? Kid Lightning, Robert, (hahaha - love that name) and Peter K showed up last night, but it was a surprise (although Robert did call me) - we need to get everyone on the sight. |
