Pretty sure they are not running one this year. We were looking at trying to run a tournament in April/May. This would be similar to ones run in Edmonton in years past. Have a DYP on Saturday night perhaps singles late Saturday afternoon and doubles on Sunday.

I posted this earlier in a seperate thread. I have been talking to SML for a while about this, and they have decided not to run a foozapalooza this year.
However… I have been working on gathering up a sponsor or two for a larger scale full weekend tournament in Edmonton. If this falls into place it will be run in May. The format will be similar to Foozapalooza, with a DYP on Friday night, then events on Saturday and Sunday. We will attempt to finish the Sunday events by a decent time so that travelling Foosers can make it home for Monday. I don’t have a name for this potential tournament yet, but Chad and I will announce something within the next week or two based on feedback from players and sponsors.

I just recieved an email from Dean of SML Entertainment... And the story has changed. He asked if I am interested in having Foosapalooza in April either April 3-5, April 10-12(easter) or April 17-19th at the Oval in Calgary.
If there is interest then I will agree to it.
As a side note, Chad and I have ordered three T-3000's to replace the current T-2000's that are in Gateway right now. We probably won't recieve them until late march because all of the production right now is going into tables for the HOFC.

Ya it will be in conjunction with there pool tournament. I'm still waiting to here back from dean on an official date, but it sounds like this will happen. Details to come as soon as I know anything.
