Next Tuesday we will do BYP – which is pick your partner when you get there night for people that don’t bring a partner. Seriously if you don’t have a partner just come down and we will set you up.
The tournaments run will be: Open Doubles(100% payout) and Beginner doubles($25 bar tab). Beginners get free entry into the Beginner doubles tournament(as long as they enter Open too) also there will be added prizes into Beginner doubles – payout will be to 1st and 2nd place.
One change from the format before, anyone that has played a minimum of 2 tournaments and has less than 900 points can play beginner doubles (this rule is subject to change and if people start sandbagging then we will change it for sure).
Here is the list of people that qualify to play beginner doubles(new players that are not normally tournament players also can play in this event): Deeg, Phil 955 Wood, Greg 912 Jordan, Darren 905 Cabay, Codie 903 Rupertus, Lindsey 899 Macdonald, Jon 899 Nguyen, Dan 886 Castillo, Jonathan 885 Spencer, Chad 885 Hewson, Craig 885 Baayens, Dean 880 Moir, Zak 876 H, Jody 871 Wilkins, Sam 870 Humberstone, Paul 869 Daly, Ritchie 868 Park, Gordon 868 Cooke, Drew 868 Mayoski, Trevor 867 Potts, Nigel 867 Campbell, Carmen 858 Wilkins, Ben 857 Jamerson, Rick 853 Fester, David 853 Volkman, Dallyn 836

Sorry I couldn't make it this week, guys.
How embarrassing is it that I qualify for beginner doubles? I'll save you the time of formulating an answer... very.

haha, lindsey, I would have pulled you out of it because you are too good, but I figure that because you havn't accumulated the points elsewhere you have the opportunity to win that one. Now that I think about it, if you had been there last night, all the other top players had to play with a beginner too. Before last night, the only "expert" players that had ever played with a beginner were you and me. I'll change the rule because of this. From now on a person has to have played a minimum of 3 tournaments to drop into the beginner category if they are originally ranked as an expert. At the same time - if someone is ranked a beginner initially but win it - they will be moved to expert for the next week.
There are still a lot of people that are either way over or under ranked - I think everyone knows you fall into that category.

Sorry Sam- u played well and were quick to learn/adapt to my suggestions- I on the other hand sucked-If it wasn't for our match against mr dick- the whole night would have been a write off because of my play.
