Tables use to be kept in good condition, now its week after week "Is there any lube," "this rod is messed" "these rods are horrible" "these tables suck" are all I hear these days.

I changed the rod out with the rod from the table that we replaced. Nobody was complaining about that rod and it played alright for me so I thought it was better than putting a non-tempered one in.

I left Lube there in the pin container and mentioned it to a number of players two weeks ago. If it is missing already then maybe the players should supply their own lube.

The reason that the tables have sucked is because I got tired of people abusing the tables and just expecting me to replace 3-4 men because of broken shoulders and 5-6 bumpers a week from players slamming rods.

I have personally made a choice to have the tables upgraded and kept in better condition. Robbie 892-7672 anytime you want to give me a call and let me know the tables are not functioning it will be better than leaving a messege here.

I'll have another look at the rod.

thanks for responding. in the future i'll call u instead. i hope the bar can be replace for this fridays singles. as for the lube . someone stole it so i dont expect u to pay for it but maybe we could lock it up and give only one person the key so it cant be stolen. i find it easier to make my shots when the bars are lubed and not sticky

Some people use vegetable oil on the rods on non-tournament days. I heard this with my own ears!!!!!

Hmmm..... that'd make sense. Sometimes I lube the table and the rods are still stuck. I have to wipe down the rods and relube them so they slide freely again...

Pepper, you remember that time Dave would not believe me that I had lubed the rods on that far table. We ended up having to wipe them dry and relube them?
