Hello,

Thanks all at Tuesday night for all of your tips and help as I learn. I think that I want to start using wraps now. Where do I get them. Are they specifically for fooseball? Thanks again.

I get mine at a place called Sweet Spot. it's in a strip mall at 109st and 85 th ave(in the university area). The ones I use are prince tennis racket wraps- they have 3 different types-tacky etc.

I'll give you my advice... even though you tried to trash talk me during our match

The wraps we use are Tennis overgrips.

I like Yonex Super Grap wraps. You can get them at Sweet Spot on 109th or other tennis stores. They also sell a Wilson wrap which is basically the same and I'm told they're cheaper in bulk. I think the super graps are about $9 for three. The wilson wraps are about the same price per wrap in singles but again... I'm told they're cheaper in bulk.

If you end up buying in bulk I don't suggest buying at a Tennis store. I buy super graps in bulk from a place in the US and I get them much cheaper. I've been trying some other yonex wraps that I can get really cheap in bulk from china but so far they have sucked compared to super graps.

If you're going to be at gateway next week I can give you a couple of different wraps to try. I've got lots. You'll need some rubber bands too. For those most people cut up a bicycle inner tube. One tube is basically a lifetime supply. I can give you a bunch of those too

Thanks guys. I'll have to check it out. Thank you Lindsey. I'll probably take you up on your offer on Tuesday. This foosball thing is really getting addicting. I'll hope you know that the trash talking is all in jest. I have fun playing and enjoy meeting new people. One day I'll be able to legitimately trash talk you ....when I get better. But I think wraps are the next step for me to improving. Looking forward to Tuesday.

No worries, Desmond. You should hear some of the crap Garry and I say to each other

lol

Lindsey- U should have learned by now that although trash talk may throw off some players- i am not one of them.

A good battle on and off the table gets the competitive juices flowing- and should not be taken personally- unless it's between Lindsey & I.

Are you the happy face Garry, and Lindsey is the dog? Lol. Too funny.

The only reason I trash talk is to play the mental game cause I lack the "skill" portion of foosball.

Do you pros practice like crazy or what? Cause this once a week thing isn't making me any better.

I used to play and practice alot- not anymore though.

"The only reason I trash talk is to play the mental game cause I lack the "skill" portion of foosball"...lol

Lindsey isn't good at either, so u have a good shot at surpassing him.

Sure... just buy a table and practice a couple hours per day for a few years.
