After a great holiday and some major foos slacking I'm back and ready to resume the TFL (VIFA) league. I've come up with a schedule of mixed events taking us up to the tournament in March. I have the go ahead to run a mixed format so this schedule is flexible and may change based on input from players. There will be a total of 11 events including the final tournament between now and the TFL international championships in Las Vegas. If players want to qualify for the TFL international championships but are unable to make it out to the required number of events please speak to me and we will work something out. Anyone who wants to play will be qualified one way or another. Here is the schedule. Please let me know if you have any comments or concerns: Thursday Jan. 7 - Singles Thursday Jan. 14 - DYP Sunday Jan. 17 - DYP, Singles or both! Thursday Jan. 21 - BYP Thursday Jan. 28 - Singles Thursday Feb. 4 - DYP Thursday Feb. 11 - BYP Thursday Feb. 18 - Singles Sunday Feb. 21 - DYP, Singles or both! Thursday Feb. 25 - 4 man DYP. The intention here is for people to get some experience with the 4 man format. Saturday Feb. 27 - Final tournament. Singles and BYP doubles. Entry will be $5 per tournament. Thursdays start at 7:30PM and Sundays will start at 2:00PM. Remember that there is a one time (per year) $10 league registration fee. I'm going to start another thread to get input on other details regarding the league. |
