Topic: Practice partners needed for Vegas at SoHo
|
|
I am looking to play as much as possible before Vegas in early March. If anyone wants to play at SoHo during the week, just post here, text me, or just drop in cause I might be there anyway getting smashed. Doubles, Singles, whatever, I don't give a shit. I'm playing a lot of goal in Vegas, so it don't really matter who shows. Losers still pay the next game tho.
If you want some shitty tips, I can offer those too.
Later.

No sense me coming down as no one will be shooting a pin shot against you in Vegas.

Good luck to all you Canuckleheads going to Vegas. As if luck ever came into it in the long run. Ha ha.
I think Vegas is March so hope to see you in Feb when there for Olympics. Is Soho still going to be available do come to during Olympics by the way. If not maybe Dave's place?
Will be in Van Feb 22 to March 9.

Practice is practice Johnny! Besides I need to be prepared incase I do meet one. Bankers are more common.

Once the Olympics begin and we are done setting up/ preparing I'll have a bit of a life again and can come down to practice more often.
Probably no Vegas for me.

When is Vegas so I know what weekend to leave open until I decide I'm not going to go.

Dave,
Get a real goalie for Am dubs this time so there are no excuses when I kick your butt in the final playing forward myself.
Happy to room with you but won't be telling Jimmy from FLA. Ha ha
Can anyone find out what the travelling downtown restrictions are for Olympic period and if we have a foosball practice backup plan? I think ok for Jeff since he lives downtown now but trying to picture Dave or Tuan on a bus and just not seeing it...
I will be there on Feb 22nd but going to a couple of Olympic events before will be free to practice. Will post when get there if I have internet access.
Thanks,
Fred PS Dave, how can I call you? How did you lose your phone? Were you passed out or something? ha ha

Hmmm, i wonder what the blue Olympic Lane means ... does that mean only official Olympic Vehicles can drive in these lanes? I know the green lanes will be for people only. The red lanes are complete road closures and the orange lanes are drivable with no stopping. This map isn't perfect as i know that most of the side streets around Soho will be no parking during the Olympics. Homer and Richards look okay, but i'd bet it'll be next to impossible to park. Guess we will just have to wait and see.
As for Soho being open ... hell yeah!!! All that Olympic pedestrian foot traffic ... i'm betting it'll be packed.

Tim,
Come to Vegas. We can team up for the "ugliest shirt" team! If Johnny doesn't get in on it we will be a lock!
