Topic: St. Louis IFP World Championships

There is a $100,000 IFP (Warrior) World Championships in early July in St. Louis this year. I think it is July 1st - 4th.

At the tournament there will be a "State Championships" similar to what I posted in my "City Challenge" thread. I talked to Mary and she said that Alberta can compete in this if we want. I think it would be kinda fun. She hasn't posted all the details or put out the flier yet, but its worth taking a look at. I really like the team aspect of foosball, I think it is great to travel somewhere as a team and play against other states/provinces.

I'll post more information once I get it - but it is worth looking into.

IFP lets the highest ranked player from the province "captain" the team, and pick the members. I doubt we would have too many players going, but in case there is a discrepancy that is what it comes down to for picking teams.

Chris Steele has the most points (1600) that I could find for IFP players, the Ang Karmis(1570), then Tom McDonald and Joey Ramjag (1300 Amatuer). Matt B and Eric Goodman (1200).

How many AB players have ever actually played IFP Events? Brian and Tony played California Superdoubles one year right?

I played KY State a few years back.
