Topic: Vancouver's athlete's village has foosball.
It was mentioned in a blog posting from an athlete's village Olympic volunteer. No pictures yet, so who knows what type of table they got.
In the 'Living Room' they also have video games, pin ball machines, pool tables and a piano.

The big question is how do us real foosers get into the village so we can kick some Olympic ass ...
I think we'll have to settle for kicking some international visitor ass.
But if you want to play an athlete, you never know...
FWIW I sent Soho's details to the volunteer - she'll be working in the 'Living Room' as a host to the athletes. I told her Fri/Sat/Sun nights are best at Soho and I'll watch for any replies or questions from her.
So if you bump into someone with a european accent complaining about the 3-goalies...ask them what Olympic event they're in.

Tell them that the members of the Swedish Women's ski team get to enter the tournament for free.

Dave said that "he will enter any of the Swedish Women's ski team for free".
What a coincidence!

I got a reply back today:
Hi Earl, Thanks for the info on foosball! Very exciting. I’ll be sure to let people know that the Soho is available on weekend evenings. Pretty cool! Happy Olympics to you! Andrea
(I clarified with her that Soho is always open - just more likely to find foosers there on the weekend)
