Topic: how about some updates

Missing Jan 16th, Feb 9th and Feb 16th.
Thanks Will when you get a chance

The 16 wasn't a Tuesday. I think you mean 19th.
The tournament from the 19th finished this tuesday. I didn't do the one from the 9th because my computer is broken, and the one from the 16th I'll do asap. This pretty much means I missed one week and waited a day to do the most recent one, but don't worry I will get to it. I try to do it as fast as possible but I don't do then while I'm working and some Wednesdays I am very busy. Normally I try to do it Wednesday but this week it didn't work out. Good job on Tuesday by the way, you guys played great

yeah, I meant the 19th. I forgot about this one finishing on the 16th. Thanks.

Ok I'll post my update here then - that was sure a waste of half an hour typing out my first update... here is my second time typing it out.
Last week (and still currently) my computer had some virus issues. I'm using the laptop that we run our tournaments on to do the points update, but still can't delete out some of the extra information that we don't really need in the points because we don't have excell on this computer.
Anyway - the long anticipated and much appreciated update (everyone at foos tonight told me how important this is)
This tuesday we did a DYP. The draw looked pretty good, as pretty much all the people that attended were regulars. Nobody really drew someone that had never seen a snake shot before and that was nice.
Christian really returned to greatness (finally). It shows that when he gets on a roll he is pretty much unstoppable. Needless to say, with Simon as his partner it would have been hard to stop that train from derailing. Simon has also really been picking up his game to where it should be recently. It probably has something to do with Simon actually showing up - I think maybe three weeks in a row took the rust out of his game entirely.
Sam was definatly a talking point from last night. I heard a lot of people comment on how his 5 bar is just 100% better than about a month ago. I mean really he went from passing at an average nonpro level to being able to win 5 bar wars against pro players. Good job on the improvement and I am really impressed. A lot of people commented on how far you have come in recent weeks.
Mike J, playing with Christain Dunn in the 2nd draw Christian had also looked great. Mike was stellar in the back and was just ripping push kicks from the 2 bar.
I didn't see too many games, but I think all in all everyone had a good night. Any other talking points to add anyone?
Results: $40 Christian and Simon $25 Christian and Mike $15 Roger and Sam
No Pro:
1st Chris 2nd Des
Ok so the points dont look as sharp as when I normally update them, but its only because I can't paste it into excell and delete out the fields that don't matter. Christian has 1349 points, the other numbers are irrelivant as they are just points from a random date in the past when Ben was playing around with netfoos.com. If you figure out, it says Christian has 1349, Will has 1252, so on and so forth through the event.

I'm frustrated, it wouldn't work unless I seperated the points section... Maybe my post was just too long or something.

I gotta give huge props to Mike J. He really took his game to a level that I personally hadn't seen before. Not only did he pretty much single handedly win a match for us he popped at least 3 game winners as well. His 2-bar offence was stellar all night and I don't remember him even getting stuffed once. The biggest thing though was just ball control. Rebound control (keeping the ball in the zone) was on point as was slop control. I think there was only one or two slops the whole night. As well, giveaways were a non issue. Maybe 1 or 2 but the plus/minus when he had the ball was definitely on the plus side. He also made key stops when we needed them. I know it wasn't ideal for Mike starting on the B side but we made it back baby. It was a pleasure Mikey, I'm glad we made the most of it.
As for my other partner Simon. I don't even give a &!$#@ (thats the secret to success )

"As for my other partner Simon. I don't even give a &!$#@ (thats the secret to success )"
That combined with the roto strategy!
