Open Singles
1st Craig
3rd Tuan
5th Me

Open Doubles
4th Tuan/Simon
6th Craig/Me

Great warmup for the St.Louis Worlds.
I liked the table, but really had to adjust on my 5 row. Really hard time catching passes, new new men. But I had learn to catch ball with man forward. My match with Tuan going 5 games for match in king seat and then losing it at then end totally distruated me. I don't think I take losing to him the worst. Prob same for him. All should watch it, Roger recorded it. Real sweet ass match, you'll see the open net I missed to go up 4-2 in the 5th. Then Tony Tong literally destroyed me 3 games to nothing. I got worked. He executed his dump and chase, back pin bank pass/shots, 2 to 3 passes plan down pack. He actually had a tough 5 row too. Tuan was solid but kept saying he hated the tables. And Craig is the Champ.

Sunday singles was a total let down. Ang, Matt, Brian, Paul, Ivor, Joey, didn't even play. Calgary didn't even want to play in the team event. I'm still stracthing my head on why they all didn't come for Open Singles.

I think the Warrior problems are taking away from the fact that BC guys should be congratulated properly for the job they did in Alberta.

I did not mean to use the words "shitty table" or whatever else I said on the other thread to carry over to anything with regard to the job the players or promoter did. I have nothing but admiration for a job well done by Will & co in Alberta and, Craig, Tuan and Dave in representing BC.

So, congratz everyone and sorry about the timing of the Warrior problems.

Also, in the other thread I am not trying to belittle the Warrior table, tour or players in any way in terms of playability or skill displayed. I do get mad however when manufacturers repeatedly do not listen to players and it ends up in companies and tours failing, and in players who jump on board to tables and tours that have no interest in constant improvement.

Anyway, I want to leave this as more of a congratulations to those concerned and especially Craig whose hard work on the Warrior is obviously really paying off and on Tony Tong for utterly decimating Dave. It saved me the job of having to do it...
