This week we did an Am's Choice Pro Am. There was a really good turnout for this event and I think it probably has something to do with all the am's that showed up for it. Really we had to have Des, Chad, Darcy, and Chris all play as pro's (Chris also got to play as an am because of the odd number of players).

Greg Ustina also graced us by showing up for the tournament. It was great to see Greg out and he played really well from what I saw.

In the first round of games Greg and Cam pulled out a huge victory against Christian and Karli. It was nice to see Christian lose in the first round, too bad it takes out of town talent to do that! Greg was doing a really nice hesitation wall that he seemed to execute seamlessly. Maybe I haven't played enough time against Greg as a forward but I really struggled blocking the 5.

Daniel and Roger plowed through a few rounds of games early too, taking out Chad and Scott then Chris and Paul. They nearly took out Simon and Chris too but I think Simon got hot at the right time and they pulled it out.

One epic match was Paul and Chris against Darcy and Christoff. It went right down to the wire and Christoff finished it off with a long pull. Paul said he was parked on it to block the shot but it still went long. Really good match though it was a battle.

For King seat Simon and Chris played against Travis and I. We had a really tough game but in the 3rd one I made a few crucial 5 bar blocks and was shooting really well, we won and then ended up playing them again in the final. Chris played really patient foos and was smart every single time he had the ball. I think it must have been a little coaching from Simon, because Chris was solid the whole time. I have never seen so many different looks of a D that I was shooting at. Every time I could score a shot or two Chris would come back with something new and make another key block, and with Simon passing and shooting as well as he did they really deserved the win. I think it went 9 games total between the 3 matches, but I had a really good time. Travis played really well too, making some clutch blocks and keeping us in the game to win many of the matches that we did win.

Cool Stats from netfoos.com

Chad vs Tobin is tied at 9 wins each in the 18 times they have played.

Mike is up 13-6 against Chris in all time wins.

Paul is up 4-0 against Ritchie and 8-7 against Tobin.

Paul is down 16-3 against Roger

Roger and Garry are tied at 18 a piece in a total of 36 games played. Crazy. Next one is epic.

I have a 100% winning percentage against 43 different players.

Simon is up 9-0 on Darcy, the only person Simon has a losing record against is Christian.

Christoff is up 6-2 against Chad.

Chris is up 11-10 against Darcy and 10-5 on Sam.

Christoff has placed top 3 in 47% of his tournaments.

Roger, Garry, and I all have a 63% winning percentage.

Des ranks 11th on the all time money winnings list, with $190.

Christian has placed top 3 in 72% of his tournaments, he used to be at 50% 1st place finishes but can not get back to that level any more... 45%. Weak.

Anyway I just randomly noted those stats for whatever reason, some of them are kinda cool.

I went 2-0 against him at Time Out last week-I know it didn't count on paper-just on principle!

With next weeks BYP and Will on my team I might move into first place. As short lived as it may be.

Those stats are pretty cool.

Will you played awesome last night. Your game keeps getting better.

I learned something about Roger last night. He is not all about the junk. He has a plan and it works.

Chris really played well.

I know I rag on Roger, but his game when on is hard to beat-that's why I refuse to let him touch the ball!

That's because when he plays you he never has to serve the ball! Unless he loses the coin toss.

That was a compliment towards Roger's game- not a shot at him.

I do appreciate your input though???

My comment was also a compliment to Rogers game. It was just a little shot at you!

I'd just like to say that despite my poor outings vs most people, I do have an immaculate 4-0 record vs 'extra x'
