Thinking about doing a charity fundraiser for Breast Cancer. If we can get 10 players from each city to get 100.00 each in sponser money between Victoria, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon?, Regina, Toronto and Ottawa we could raise at least 5000 - 8000.

anyone up for this?

Get your friends/relatives/co-workers/ neightbours ect to sponser you for "X" number of hours you play foosball.

One more thing, This could also be a great way to promote the game in your own city. Possibly get some new players to participate in the "foos-a-thon and collect pledge money.

If Edmonton did this at WEM, It would be really good exposure plus rasing money for a great cause.

It would also be alot easier to generate sponsorships if companies that are inclined to do so knew we were willing to work with charities.

I would like to volunteer my time(as much as is required) as a breast expert, including but not limited to the sampling, critiquing, and analysis of the aforementioned breasts.

Seriously though,I think in keeping with foos and a fundriasing(a telethon type of event, for example)venture would be a continuos foosball match(including numerous time outs),where the longer a match goes, the more money that is raised.Darn it,you may even get a major corporate sponsor.Anyway, just a thought.

Darn that was funny. One of the best chuckles I've had in a long time.
