It was really nice to see Carmen back playin foos. I'm pretty sure we had our first game that ever had two girls on the same team winning a match, so a massive congrats to Karli and Carmen for that! In the first round of the DYP we had some big matches including Darcy and Daniel against Rog and Chad. Rog and Chad came out on top but that was a big match for both teams, putting Darcy and Daniel(a pre-tournament favorite) into the losers bracket early. Simon and Ben (the biggest pre-tournament favorite) had a bye in the first round and then beat Sam and Carmen. Garry and Travis put a few wins together including what I would call an upset of Roger and Chad. Garry and Travis had a zone D set up that seemed to work well in that match Simon and Ben vs Uzair and I was close, but they put us away in the third game and went on to take kingseat. Darcy and Daniel strung together a few wins and then nearly beat us, but in the end we won 5-4 5-4. We got back to the final, but Ben and Simon were both playing really well and we could only put up a good fight, but not take the match.
