Will which tournament is the Calgary May 9-11 2009? Is that the 1st Juliet tourny?

It would be helpful to post players with rank a lot further down the list for Edmonton & Calgary (Top 15 tourny results)and the city they play out of should you want to even track these tallies.

Ben or Chad must have totals close to 300+.

What do others think long term on this ?

Yes

I do not feel that the above stats, as they are put together, put me in the proper light. So I am left to conclude that these are misrepresentations made to look like fact.Further, these stats do not reflect the utter joy and trepidation which I evoke from each and everyone of my opponents.

Good point Underdog. I think the true measure of foosball winnings is the number of spontaneous group hugs that one is involved in during a standard tournament.

I have to know: joey, is your spacebar broken or are you trying for style points?

Author: University of Foos Reply #9 Posted: Nov 24 2010 6:27PM

What Joey lacks in punctuation he usually makes up for in emoticons.

Author: perennial underdog Reply #10 Posted: Nov 24 2010 7:55PM

My style!!!Now you're talking. So much to say and so little space and time to say it.My style is like that of my hockey team,The Detroit Redwings, one of consistency and the ability to win.My style is unlike, say, that of The Calgary Flames(or,as I like to call them,The Calgary Flamers--not that there is anything wrong with that)or The Edmonton Oilers,a team that knows winning only as a distant memory.Perhaps these two teams would be wise to take a pastime which does not require physical agility or scoring goals on their opponents!

Author: Darcy Reply #11 Posted: Nov 24 2010 10:01PM

hmmmm looks like his space bar isn't the only thing that's broken...

Author: Will Reply #12 Posted: Nov 24 2010 10:10PM

Is it also "your style" to be a Lakers fan and a Yankees fan?

Author: perennial underdog Reply #13 Posted: Nov 24 2010 10:25PM

I am Celtics and RedSox fan.

Ha

You can thank Steve Yzerman for that.

So you cheer for teams that have had "Almost Dynasty" era's but you think the Oilers (greatest dynasty of all time in any sport, clearly) don't fit that mold?

Author: Will Reply #16 Posted: Nov 25 2010 8:12PM

For what its worth, I just checked into it... I was trying to be sarcastic, but it turns out that the Red Sox actually are one of the most futile franchises in North America, with only 7 Championships in over 100 years.

Celtics however had an 8 year Championship run, the longest of any pro sports team in any sport in North America - also they are a good team right now which helps.

I would bet that the Oiler's win a cup before the Flames... Canucks might beat us both to it though.
