Topic: Freddy Classic - Take 2
So, a few people have told me that there is interest in having the Freddy Classic but they don't always go online or post about it.
So, here is what I propose.
On Sunday December 19th I will bring my jet-lagged sorry butt down to Soho. I will bring a Henrik Sedin jersey. But it will have an A not a C on it. The knockoff people in China didn't get the Team Captain memo in time...
I will get size large. Too big for Earl, too small for me. I will also bring some small, simple, fun, Made In China type gifts for the the top 3 finishers for the dubs event.
We will have a One Ball Forward Shootout event for the jersey. When I win the event, the jersey can go to who finishes second. Ha ha... If it doesn't fit you, sell it or give it to your father in law for Xmas.
We can also have the regular doubles event as well. The one ball tourny starts when the doubles event goes down to just one table. Sorry Slow if that is too late for you or others who actually work for a living...
If I get a vote on the dubs I vote Handicapped Pro/Am DYP Roto.
I think I am an Am in Canada but if you want to bump me to Expert that is ok too. Doesn't matter to me.
Yes, Dave and Robbie, I am looking forward to seeing your new 3 bars. Just keep the tags on so you can return them on Boxing day...
No funny shirt competition. Tim and Johnny are too tough to beat.
Hope to see you all there.

I will probably be able to attend that. However, I disagree with Freddy's suggestion for the tournament. It should be a simpler format like Handicapped Pro/Am DYP Roto, win by 2, with the team winning the previous game being required to begin the next game in different positions from where they started the game they just won. If there is no winner by 2 by the time one team reaches 8 goals, then the winner is decided by the team able to roll a ball from their goalie rod closest to the the big dot at the front of the other team's goal. In other words, winner decided by a draw to the button.

On second thought, maybe we just play Rock Paper Scissors?
And Fredrock beats all three?
I'm a definite "we'll see how it goes," but more likely than not. How's that for freakin commitment?
No problem on the level of commitment. It will just match the quality of the gifts that I will be buying.
Maybe if we move the event to Oregon?
Just a thought...
Well, you have 1 probably ... 1 we'll see how it goes and 1 I'll be there. I'll throw in my 1 probably not.
On another note i played someone from South Florida says he knows you ... Casey says hi.
Not sure, but he may be playing in tonight's tourney if there is one. Perhaps Freddy knows more ...
I knew a K.C. Late 20s, shot a roller?
Where meet him?
Yeah is Klingon alright, klingon for Stick it up your ass!! Haha see ya
Just seen the first place prizes for the winning team. Freakn Sweet Ass. Winning team will be getting a sick prize. So sick!!
So we don't need the one ball tourny and to simplify things, I bought two hocket jerseys for the first place team. One Daniel and one Hendrik - both 40th anniversary white jerseys. Hendrik's has the C but no name on back. Both have numbers and look really nice. The old logo looks so cool on them!

Then a big drop for 2nd place orizes- Mao watches. Think Mickey Mouse watch and add in a little Commie nostalgia.
Not sure about third prize yes. Maybe some kids toys full of lead, some tainted milk, or maybe a 15 cent pack of Chinese cigarettes? The choices are endless...
A little bear bile or powdered reindeer penis anyone?
(Johnny and TIm's replies go here)
See you on the 19th.
Fred
With that prize selection, I will have to throw the finals to ensure I get the Mao-ey Mouse watch.
3rd prize, a dvd of my new 3bar with step by step tutorial
So 3rd prize is a frisbee / drink coaster.
Its.......FAAAAAAAABIOOOOO!!!
Prize list: Daniel and Hendrik jerseys. Mao watches Green Mao satchels Workers tea cup style big Latte cups Super tacky 3d scenes of the Shanghai waterfront Commie cigarette boxes Chop sticks
Shouldn't you have superimposed your head onto Mao's body in all of his pics ... or would you be doing 25 years hard labor in the Fireball factory as punishment .
Why don't you bring your limp little backpin out on Sunday to find out the answer?
Fred, i havent been out to soho for the last 3 weeks but 3 weeks ago Johnny's game was pretty damn good, you might have something else coming to ya
But anys, looking forward to this!

Arrived ok so everything a go for tonight.
Out in 2 and you get some cheesy chopsticks. Do better than that and you should get a cool gift.
Team that finishes first can select first, second chooses second, etc. Guessing the Sedin jerseys will go first then fun Chinese souvenir stuff. But Chopsticks and a hearty handshake if you suck. If I am out in 2 it is all my partners fault. Ha ha...
If you can't make it but want to kick my butt on another day call me at a reasonable time on my father in laws borrowed cell 604 842 6885.
Here until the January the 2nd.
Merry foosmas!
Fred PS Handicapped Roto Dubs???
I gonna be there. Me wants me some Mao watches.
When's this shin dig supposed to get started .
Excellent point Brundlefly. I suggest the usual 8:30.
Ya, I was wondering too. I know months ago there was talk of an early start, but I think the usual time is probably assumed at this point.
Freddy you agree?
Freddy are you already down there waiting on us??
Looking forward to it, see y'all later!
Where the hell is this guy
Just woke up (17:30) for this early morning tourny! Will be there a little early.
C u there everyone...
Fred... I'm really sorry I couldn't make it out tonight. Regardless of the fabulous prizes. I had a family obligation, and need to finish drafting my budget tonight. And in the morning I have to get up early to install some LDAPs.
See you next time I hope!
Too bad Slow .. would have played if you were there .. oh well. Was a very nice turn out from what i saw ... the usual bickering ... but no blood letting so all's cool.
Chairman Fredrock brought the goods ... he really is a nice guy .. not just some chump trying to get a read on things lol .
Any recently airborne from Asia want a beat down ... let me know on here and i will accommodated you .
Missed you there Slow. But those LDAP installations can be a pain in the derriere so I understand completely. I had an installed LDAP and needed to get a fumigator to get it out. I suspect my recent message regarding aforementioned LDAPs got through.
Thanks for coming out everyone. No problem Slow, next time whenever that is will be great.
Once I get my new flyswatter for XMAS will be happy to oblige. Got your poster by the way...
Fun event. Felt and played like crap but still fun to be out. Will get a bit of rest and hopefully be down another evening or two to to play a little foos.
Pete said he might try to make it out maybe Slow as well too?
Will post a date if/when Sharon let's me out again.
Merry Xmas everyone.
Freddy (still a Classic) Gower PS Hope you all get a nice LPAD under the tree this year.
