This coming Tuesday we will be having a Christmas Foosball Night. Upon arrival everyone will be assigned 10 entries into a door prize/present draw free of charge – the only requirement is that you have to have played in an event for the EFL at some point (or be the guest of someone who has played). It’s not a costume party but crazy outfits are encouraged - whoever wears the craziest outfit (Katy is the judge) gets $25 Gateway bucks to spend on Tuesday or at a later date. Bring a guest, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, just a friend - whatever you want! We just want to have a relaxed atmosphere with no tournament, just have some fun if you can make it out! We will be giving away: $50 to the Keg $30 Best Buy Several small gifts Also we will have some special events to win extra door prize tickets! Any time: if you can score an Ariel – unlimited tries! 8:00-8:30: if you can beat Christian in a 2 people vs 1(Christian by himself - 1 game to 5) game! 8:30: if you can score a bank shot on your first try (2 bar bank) 9:00: if you can hit a double bank, one try each at an open table! 9:30: if you can score on Karli! One shot each person! 10:00: if you can beat Chad in Goalie Wars 10:30 Drawing! All night: if you can kick Tobin in the junk(meatballs) at any time throughout the night! (this competition hasn’t been cleared with Tobin so he might react accordingly – I don’t accept any liability issues that come with you kicking Tobin in the junk) Max 1 junk kick per competitor Post some other crazy competition ideas and we will accept competitions that seem fun and don’t harm anyone! Sorry for the lack of planning a real Christmas party of any kind but we'll have to work with what we have left for time. I apologize if you can't make it out. |

3 Things to think about:  #1 - Way to much use of the word JUNK. #2 - This all night kick Tobin in the junk event doesn't have any prizes or payouts so you should all forget about competing? #3 - Not a good idea at all! If you Kick me I will go from   to   Haha I don't intend on signing off on this one... Sounds like it should be a fun night! |

Tobin you are wrong about some of the junk you just said. People win two things if they kick you in the junk. 1. They win some extra door prize tickets (which are drawn at the end of the night to win a lot of junk) 2. They win a punch in the face from Tobin |

Do you have to wear your crazy outfit all night to qualify for the crazy outfit contest? I have something in mind but it might be tough to play in. And very distracting to opponents  |

The more distracting the better. You're right Lindsey, high heels would definitely be difficult to play in. It does get cold down there in Gateway as well, so keep that in mind |

It seems to me,as is clear from Simon's posting,that the foosball attire for the members of the Edmonton Foosball League has taken a turn to the darkside.I find this shift in life style to be both surprising and a little unsettling.  |
