Topic: where do you buy your supplies

Author: aghector Original Message Posted: Jan 6 2011 12:03PM

Hello Alberta Foosers..
I just bought my first foosball, second hand on Kijiji.

I was wondering where in Calgary is the best place to go to buy supplies (high quality balls, rod lube, handle wraps..etc.).

I've heard Tornado balls are the best, would you agree? I will be playing on a Shelti Foos 315 if that makes any difference.

Thanks,

Aaron

SML Entertainment is one place, but they are overpriced. Other than that ordering online is probably the best option. Foosball.com is pretty solid and has always delivered fast to me.

www.foosball.com should be your first stop because prices and selection are a lot better.

In a pinch SML Entertainment will have stock of most table parts.

Wraps are just Tennis over wraps, you can get them at sportscheck or anywhere racket sports supplies are sold. The best selection in Calgary is at What's Your Racket.

Thanks guys! I went over to SML on the weekend and picked up a couple of pink Tornado balls... what a difference!

feel free to ask the Calgary Foos guys (Andrew and Brian) as well.

Sometimes we have extra parts, but often we'll have a good suggestion as well.

Feel welcome to come on out and play.
