I got this email about a TFL league tournament. I wasn't aware they were even running a league this year and it doesn't seem to coincide with any major tournament. In any case... some of you might be interested. If they're accepting players who were in last year's league I can probably qualify some Edmonton players. Here's the email: Hello, Promoters. I hope everyone had a nice holiday season! We've been busy putting together a Vegas Foosball Event for our TFL League Players ONLY! The Tournament will be held at BALLY'S in Las Vegas from Thursday, June 2nd through Saturday June 4th. We will have all the same events and the entries will be the same as in the past. We are very excited to be at BALLY'S! It is a very exciting property with numerous restaurants and lounges for our players to enjoy, not to mention all of the entertainment possibilities! I will be sending everyone a 2011 Tournament Kit, Poster and League Sanctioning Paperwork this week. This Tournament will be a lot of FUN... finally a Tournament for OUR LEAGUE PLAYERS ONLY! Personally I don't think I would go to the event unless the payouts made it worth it, and I can't see that happening. I doubt many foosers will actually attend without having the other tournament to back it up running at the same time. |

Payouts for Vifa have typically been $40000.00. There was always more money to be won in the league events. |
