Hi Foosballers: The EFL has purchased 5 BRAND NEW T-3000 tables which are shipping to Edmonton right now. Although we have been trying to get them here for months, the current plan is that we will receive them before Saturday Feb. 26th. We will now have 6 tables in Gateway which should speed up the tournaments and give everyone a lot more time to play pick up games on Tuesday nights! We are opening a new North End Location which will also hold weekly DYP's and contribute to our league points system and standings! The night for these will most likely be Thursday (don't worry we won't be canceling Time Out Pub drop in night). We have approached a couple of different locations and will let you know soon! These tables are from the exact same run of tables that are going to be in Vegas, and we will be able to get in a week or two's practice on the exact same feel of tables before we head down there. |

Marth 1st Super Doubles - all tier 1 matches will be 3/5! Top 8 teams in Tier 1 only! This will be a two tiered event. |

Yes. The 8 teams with the most total points will be in the top tier, it will be a seeded event. New balls, and we are ordering hundreds more new balls too. |

For this purchase I was FORCED to deal with SML Entertainment. In the past we had decided to order from Tornadofoosball.com, and they treated us well, delivered tables on time and for less money, and threw in extra parts. Every time I have dealt with SML they have completely screwed up in multiple ways. All of the following things have happened in my past couple years of dealing with them: - E-mailed me saying I didn't pay enough money days after writing the reciept and billing us. - said they would deliver tables on time and then not delivered tables for up to two months after the agreed time of delivery - said they were delivering tables in new condition, and sent us tables that had huge dents and external pieces of the cabinet missing - said they would send tables to Edmonton and then had us drive to Calgary to get the tables (and the staff in Calgary said we couldn't even pick up tables until hours later after arguing and contacting management) - invited us to come and pay for the tables at the store, only to refuse our money on more than one occasion, because the invoice wasn't ready or the employee didn't know what was going on - tried to convince me that white balls were the official Tornado ball and that I didn't know what I was talking about - said that handle wraps are only for the goalie rod, so that good players know which one is the goalie by feel without having to look - they don't keep stock of new parts in Edmonton. If we want the current Tornado man, rod, ball, bearing, side strip, or handle we have to email the Calgary management and have them send it to us in a weeks time. Even after doing this about 3 months ago asking for 50 new balls they are STILL not in Edmonton - They never return phone calls, and resepond to emails days or weeks later even though at the bottom of the response it says (sent from my Blackberry) Needless to say I am fed up with dealing with SML Entertainment and Tornado for that matter. I'll let you know when the tables get here, but we'll be in Vegas by that time. Who knows, maybe they wont even come until we are back from the tournament. I officially ordered the tables in my first attempt in the first week in January from Tornadofoosball.com, but SML made sure that Tornado wouldn't let Tornadofoosball.com sell internationally anymore. I ordered the tables from SML on Jan. 27th, and asked them if they could get me the tables in 2 weeks or less, which they said wouldn't be a problem. Here we go again. |

I say you cancel the order and buy the tables at the HOFC from Mary through one of our American friends. If you paid by Visa you can cancel the charge. |

Not a bad idea, but at this point I just want to get the tables which I have been told will arrive any day now. |

I suggest contacting the better business bureau.As well,you might consider contacting Don's Vending,which I believe is located on or near Wayne Gretzky Dr.Also,once a receipt is issued,a contract is agreed upon,the terms agreed to,nothing is left to discuss or negotiate. |
