Everyone was pretty tired, and in these specialty events it seemed that no one really cared by this time. Anyway to open the game (race to 7 single game) Eric got the ball on his two bar, sets the ball up in the middle, and sets it up with his two bar on the far side of the ball. He slides it all the way across to the near wall and shoots the "Retard Shot" or the squeeze shot, where the ball gets pinched against the near wall. The ball spun so hard and fast it curved and swerved into the net. 1-0. Ryan tried to call the goal illegal, and Matt said "ok, we won't do it again". The game goes back and forth a bit, 5-4 for Ryan and the rookie, matt gets the ball on his 3 bar and calls a time out. Eric goes up to put the ball away, sets it up in Rollover position... walks the ball over to the far side. Instead of using the middle man on the 3 bar, he used the far side man, pushes it away from himself and slices the nastiest cut back into the net! Everyone that saw what happened started laughing, including Ryan Matt and everyone at the table. I think in the end Ryan and the rookie won the game, but I will always remember it as one of the greatest things I have ever seen in foosball. Author: S. Had to resort to cheating to win Best line I heard all weekend was in master limited when Mario destroyed our opponents in about two minutes. It was a good way to close out the weekend. Ryan Moore even had to try it for himself after their match was over. Eric's response "not unless its an 1st man far side cutback" was comical, but it turned out to work the only time I have ever seen it.
