I tried trash talking last week, and it didn't go so well... so I have decided to change my approach: Rod for rod, Simon is probably the best player in Alberta. I'm scared of Tobin Ben and Sam because they all know my game so well that they can probably guess what I'm going to do before even I have decided. Chris has been getting so much better lately that I probably don't stand a chance in a 2/3 against him. If Garry keeps his 2 bar going like it was last week, he won't even need to make a pass to beat me. Lindsey shoots a pull now, and I'm not sure if I have ever blocked a pull shot before (i've tried...) so he just needs 10 possessions to win the game. Darcy picked up a ton of experience in Vegas and is at the top of his game too, so unless I figure out that he picks a side and keeps shooting to it he'll beat me too. I'll probably go two and out, for the next two weeks. By the end of April I'll be in Tier 3 - but then I'll have to worry about the up and coming players taking advantage of my new vulnerability. I had a good run but I can't compete with any of you any more, good luck this week and I'm sure that you will all beat me unless you get REALLY unlucky. I hope you all have a great few days leading up to Tuesday also.   |

I'm going to take opposite of Will's approach.....  Rod for Rod the best player in Alberta will win this weeks singles (I covered both bets with that syntax)  I'd be scared of other players too if I wore a blinking sign on my forehead that said tap pull push side snake 4 hole ALERT ALERT ALERT!!!!  Chris has definitely brought a game that is close to bringing him head and shoulders above his peers. Obviously 50 percent of said game is enough to beat Mr. Stranks in a 2 out of 3.  They got this new thing called a Zone D and if you use it against Garry it may yield partially improved results.  Lindsay is now on what I believe to be the only shot he has yet to attempt. But that being said it is probably the most effective so good on ya. Especially since some players i.e. William basically lift their men up for it.  If Darcy is drunk I would be scared of him too "TAP TAP TAP TAP BANG" chalk another one up for the king of trash talking. Darcy you gotta show me the way.  Will please don't drop down a tier as I really enjoy having that bye so often in the charts.  On a more serious note.....IT'S TIME TO ELEVATE!!!!!!!   |

All I have to say is that Christian has only two weeks to pass me in points and move up to first place or Will would have to change the Fireball Poster to read "Foosball Tutorial by Christian Dunn - Edmonton's second ranked player" Like who would attend that!  ZING!  |

Dear Mr. S. C. Dunn, Please re-read my post, take note of all the excellent foosball players that I gave credit to. You were not on that list because you are pure trash. The only chance I have of winning matches in this tournament is getting to play you. Hopefully twice. I find it hilarious that you can't hit a strait pull shot. To be fair, I doubt I will find out whether you decide to shoot your joke of a rollover or your weak pull shot, because you would need to get a three bar possession in our match. That's more like it......Fortunately for my "weak" pull shot or "joke" of a rollover it won't matter when I play you because your Christina Aguilera D will allow any of of my shots straight into the net unmolested. Also in the event that I don't get a 3-bar possession the Brushback Johnson will be in full effect raining down a firestorm of hellish proportions which will leave you and all other spectators in pure awe. |

Brushback Johnson: Primary Target, 1 hole Secondary Target, 5 hole Christina Aguilera D: Goalie Rod, 1 hole 2-bar, 5 hole BLOCKED! I'm thinking I might just play the defense where I flip my guys upside down if you get a 3 bar possession. Hopefully your roller is powerful enough to get the ball at least a little bit off the ground and my goalie rod can make ball cap saves. Here is the best part about when I play you. I KNOW WHEN AND WHERE YOU ARE GOING TO SHOOT! I'll leave the unmolested comment to some other poster on this board, because it is too juicy for me to pick on you for that one. |

Well... Simon, you and I are both pretty good at owning up if we lose... Sweet Crybaby Dunn on the other hand isn't the same type of man though. When he loses and can't post an update he leaves us wondering what happened to his internet connection. |

Singles tonight! 3 Brand new T-3000's 3 T-3000's (restored to better condition) New balls throughout. We might end up only using 5 tables because of lighting - we'll see how it goes. |
