We will be having elections in April. It doesn't make sense to have "Bi-elections" right now because we are so close to the current elections. If someone wants to run a bi-election I guess thats fine, but I think it makes the most sense to just have me step up to fill the roll for the next month.<<

What happened with the elections? Did I miss it?

6.6 Elections
6.6.1 Election Committee
6.6.1.1 The T.S.A.C. Election committee will be responsible for handling all aspects of the election.
6.6.2 The T.S.A.C. Election committee will consist of volunteer executive members chosen on a first come first served basis
6.6.2.1 The election committee must ensure the ability to nominate and vote is equal to all T.S.A.C. members across Canada, and should use some form of online election/nomination system. This could range from simply accepting emails, to using voting websites.
6.6.3 Before the start of the elections, the election committee must re-evaluate the executive positions based on current table type activity in the various regions of Canada.
6.6.4 The elected body shall be elected for a 2-year term, from October 1st of one year to September 31st 2 years later.
6.6.5 At the end of an executive’s 2 year term, the election committee must announce the election, the number, region, and table type for the positions available for nomination and accept nominations for 2 weeks.
6.6.6 Announcement must be done on the official T.S.A.C. website, and on as many provincial and city table soccer websites as possible.
6.6.7 Nominations must be sent to the election committee either written or by email.
6.6.8 The nominator and nominee must both be a T.S.A.C. member, and from the same region / table type.
6.6.9 Upon receipt of the nomination, the election committee must contact the nominee and ensure they accept the nomination.
6.6.10 The election committee must inform the nominee what would be expected of them, and the requirements for acceptance (internet access is mandatory).
6.6.11 Acceptance of a nomination must be either written or by email.
