There's a bunch of stuff coming up that we're going to have to address, and i'm going to start making a list here, so that we dont forget.
1. moving website - tsac registration to another web space - adding more pictures, documents, etc - making our site more current and up to date.
2. player rankings - online? results? events?
3. obtaining itsf regular member status
4. how to determine national champions - mens singles and doubles, womens singles, and doubles, junior division, and senior divisions
5. how to determine our national team for team competitions. at all of this years world championships they are having team competitions to see what countries are the best on what tables. http://www.table-soccer.org/news/index.php5?news=87
6. providing player bio's for itsf ranking site
7. updating itsf's site with our information - each member federation can log in and submit results / updates / news about their federation
8. supporting ultimatefoos promotion - this means sancationing ref's and being in attendance to ensure itsf run to tsac spec's.
9. taking vote on what a canadian is with respect to both ultimatefoos promotion and declaring our national champions.
what else am i forgetting?

I have someone who has volunteered to help with the website and I have another location for tablesoccer.ca all lined up. However, in order to do this, we will have to decouple the message board registration from TSAC registration (probably best anyway).
In the end, I would like the website to contain player profile, complete tournament history, rankings system and TSAC announcements as well as TSAC registration. However, I think we will start small.. just registration and simple profiles for now.
So I will volunteer to handle 1 and 2. If anyone else wants to volunteer their time and ideas, they are more than welcome. We will hopefully have something simple set up in a few weeks time. I would like to at least have registration and a slightly expanded database where we can store whether the player has paid this years' dues set up for the Ottawa tournament.
As to 9.. see my post on the other thread. I believe that this should be handled on a case by case basis in conjunction with the ITSF. I believe that be considered for eligibility, you should have lived in Canada for 1 year, and have applied or be planning to apply for citizenship. Then we can argue that this person will eventually be Canadian, so we can ask the ITSF to dispense with the 3 year waiting period.

just an update on the above topics for everyone:
1. database info has been obtained from barry, new registration site is being built, and once its done, we'll move over domain name.
2. rankings - still to be discussed, but very important - we must provide some value to our members - rankings are very important to some.
3. regular member status - no progress here
4. National champion - i've been in discussion with ultimatefoos promotions to make sure things are going foward (and they are - execs are still working things out), and if it is not going to happen, then we need to come up with a plan before end of may (when we have to either announce who our champions are - or what tournament is going to determine them)
5, 6, 7, 8, - no progress
9. disucssion continues
