Team members:

Just letting you know that I managed to get the accurate match details posted for your winning match against Slovakia in the round of 16.

I’m not too sure if anyone else noticed (except I mentioned it to Jeff), but the original PDF showed every doubles and singles game scored at 5-2 with no tiebreakers. Jeff said that couldn’t be the right info because at least some of the matches went to a tiebreaker. So I took it upon myself to contact them and update it – a copy of the email is attached below.

I just wanted to let you guys know of this in case any of you had already looked it up and were disappointed that there wasn’t an accurate record. Now there is.

And if you haven’t seen it, links to the sheet can be seen in the email below.

Looked like one hell of a match, by the way.

Earl

Hello Earl

You are totally right.
We kept all the original hard copy scoresheets, and the results from the CAN vs SVK matches have not been entered correctly on line.
We will fix the mistakes.
Thank you for pointing them out.

Subject: PDF Chart incorrect?

Hello ITSF,

Could you please update the following document on your website:

http://www.table-soccer.org/worldcup/results/2009/men/CAN_vs_SVK.pdf

It is one of the charts from the World Cup Elimination round of 16. I did not attend your event, but I can tell that this copy of the chart does not seem to reflect the actual scores in each match, etc. Although the ultimate outcome is the same, it would be nice to have the detailed scores.

Thank you for your attention,

Earl Nicol
Vancouver, Canada
