It would certainly seem like this scene is dead, dead, dead.... but im wondering if anyone still plays in stoon? Im moving out there next month, wouldnt mind getting some games or potentially trying to get some DYP's together if there is interest. Did all the stoon players move away or is there just nowhere to play now since the demise of Q room??
Is anyone out there???

I would love to play again and I'm sure Jason would come out and play too. I really don't know of any places to go though. There is Lydia's but the tables are not maintained at all.

I don't think having 1 table in "fairly decent shape" and nobody playing constitutes their scene reviving itself.
Getting Matt/Mike/Jason/Barry playing with hopefully people observing and learning will reinvigorate the scene there.
Edmonton experienced the same thing- with Will & Chad reviving it the way they have is a great blueprint for success.

I would be interested as well. Summer may not be the time to get things going, as I know in the past it was a hard draw for events in the summer.

I will be moving out there permanently as of the end of this month. I will actually be in toon next wednesday through monday as well if anyone wanted to play some pick up games.
I was at Lydias last week... tables definately could use lube, and the one pin was broken on the 3 bar of one table. I played on the fox and hound table a couple months ago... it wasnt terrible.
I agree that getting a formal scene going in summer would be tricky though, but a couple random nights may help to get things going a bit

The best time for me would most likely be the night of Friday April 10th. Im busy with a wedding on Saturday. Let me know what time would work best for you guys. I would advise that someone bring some silicone for the bars at either venue...

I have landed in the town of toon! Unless anything changes, I should be good for Friday night... Say, 7-8pm? I forgot to bring any table lube... last time i played at the foxnhound (2-3 months ago) the table was pretty sticky... Just a heads up.

2)I do eye u as semi pro- with my good eye
3)I am not obese- just thick boned( among other things)

Guys, I hate to do this... but some shit has come up last minute and I wont be able to make it tonight 
...which I am a little choked about, but them's the breaks sometimes. Hopefully we will be able to get something going another time in the near future.
