Last night we did a BYP where players couldn't play with past partners. I think the event was a success, and everyone had a good time. It was nice play with Garry, I really learned a lot and it was a lot of fun. Garry and Christian are tied for 1st in points now, sets up an interesting game for next week. Results: 1st $40 Christian and Lindsay 2nd $20 Garry and Will 3rd $10 Roger and Chad No-Pro Singles 1st $25 Albert 2nd Darnell Awesome final in the No Pro Singles too, Albert was shooting great from the 2 bar. Might not be a no-pro for long. "damn, I'm still 5th"...lol- a least you haven't dropped any points by not ever showing up. Will great playing, was fun to play with you & play D for a change. That match with Tom & Shane was INTENSE . A 5 minute meat nut ball is rare- but to have each forward have 5-6 shots each at it may be even more rare. During that ball from hell, the thought even went through my mind that even if we were to lose- I enjoyed playing in it- luckily we won but it could have easily went to Shane & Tom. Great playing guys!!! |

Thanks Garry, I think the two matches we had with Shane and Tom were great. Some games both forwards scored very high percentages, some games it took forever to score. |

Those 2 matches were weird to say the least! In the 1st match we scored 8 of the first 9 goals( 5-1/3-0) and lost. In the second match we lost the first game- came back and won the second game and were down in the 3rd game 3-1 then 4-2, fought back to the meat nut ball from hell-lol- and won! It goes to prove that it's never over till it's over. Many foosers might have mentally thrown in the towel in the first match- but Tom & Shane never did. In the second match we could have- but didn't! Would have been nice to double dyp Hack & Smash, but they were on their games(Nice to see Lindsey made it out of the rookie rank---  ) |

Heh, let me know if there is something going on thats not on a monday/tuesday/wednesday/thursday/friday or saturday, and I should be able to make a trip in. I'd bring a few guys with me, too. Bah, in all honesty, I've really tried to arrange to make it out again. I had a total blast the first time, and I know a few decent players I could bring into the scene as well. I will eventually, its too fun to miss. Again, appreciate how everyone made me fit in, especially when I didnt come with anyone and was a complete newb to the rules/game/terms/etc. Cheers, Brad |

I'm sorry- Reading your statement it becomes pretty obvious that your point is that the points don't mean much based mostly on dyp's/pro ams...and that's not reading between the lines. Was there another sentence I missed???? p.s. I only claim to be Name that Tune World Champ---lol  |
