Official announcement for the Provincial Bonzini tournament of Montreal 2009


We are proud to officially announce the holding of the provincial Bonzini tournament of Montreal on sept. 5th and 6th 2009. It will be sanctioned by the Association Québécoise de Babyfoot Bonzini (AQBB) and will be held at Loisirs récréatifs et communautaires de Rosemont (Centre Alphonse Desjardins) in Montreal.


Don’t miss the opportunity of trying the brand-new B90 ITSF tables.

There will be a free parking for those who come by car. Otherwise, if you take the subway, you have to stop at Viau, on the green line, then you have to take the bus 132 towards des Grandes-Prairies/Lacordaire.

EVENTS
• Open doubles and singles (open to everyone)
• Amateur doubles and singles (900 and less)
• Rookie doubles and singles (1250 and less)
• Women doubles and singles
• Pro-Am * (Open to everyone)
• DYP ** (Amateurs are not allowed)

Open doubles and singles
DKO, 3 out of 5 in the winner side, 2 out of 3 in the loser side, then 3 out of 5 when you play for the money in the loser side. Games of 5 points.

Amateur doubles and singles
DKO, 2 out of 3 in the winner side; games of 5 points. Race to 7 in the loser side. 2 out of 3 when you play for the money in the loser side; games of 5 points.
Other events
DKO, 2 out of 3 in both winner and loser sides. Games of 5 points.

There will be a deuce only in the last set of a match, up to a maximum of 8 points.
No deuce in a race to 7.
*A pro can play only with an amateur and a semi-pro can play with a rookie or an amateur.

** DYP This event will not be calculated in the official ranking system. Amateurs are not allowed because of potential schedule conflicts.

REGISTRATIONS

Pre-registrations and registration modifications on internet will be possible until Thursday, sept. 3rd at 00h00. Then, it will not be possible to pre-register online. Registrations and modifications will be possible at the tournament facility until 1 hour before the event. In this case, a 5$ fee will be charged.

A minimun of 8 brand-new B90 ITSF tables will be available. Freeplay of course.


ENTRY FEES


Entry fees (in CND$) are based on the actual AQBB ranking.
Amateur: 900 et –
Rookie: 901 à 1250
Semi-Pro: 1251 à 1800
Pro: 1801 et +

• The players will have to provide a ball during their matches. Those balls will be for sale for 3$/ball.
• Please note that a 10$ fee will be charged to all registered players, except for amateurs who will take part in only one event.
• Please note that a 10$ fee will be charged for management and room renting to everybody.

PRIZE MONEY


Note : Prize money are garantied if we have at least 55 players entering the event. If it does not happen, we will revaluate them.
