What the heck is this post about? There could be a variety of reasons to list open doubles teams. Perhaps to list the best ever, the worst ever, those likely to enter a tournament, etc. However, with no context to the list it is just noise - noise linked to every possible city.

Author: S. Edwards Reply #2 Posted: Sep 16 2009 12:13PM

Those confirmed to enter the tournament Wasn't to hard to figure out.

Will we be graced with your Hawaiian Shirts this year in Edmonton Tim?

Author: foosghost Reply #3 Posted: Sep 16 2009 12:31PM

Eric Dunn and ?

I'm going, just not sure who i'm playing with as of yet.

and this list makes it easier to remove some players i was considering asking to play - as usual i leave things to the last minute. B-(

Author: Red Pepper Reply #4 Posted: Sep 16 2009 1:23PM

Looks like a list of chuckers.

Author: Bush Doctor Reply #5 Posted: Sep 16 2009 5:06PM

I like stirring the pot, nothing else to do when your not working, except practicing.

Garry, im waiting for your response. whats taking so long?

Author: .Garry Reply #6 Posted: Sep 16 2009 5:28PM

Sorry for my late response- Laptop with the kids- stupid Farmville!

Mario & Kane- too ugly and not very sexy...lol

Tim & ????- Clash & ????

PS- I am looking for a partner for the TS retro doubles event- requirement... has to be able to shoot something other than the monkey shot!!!

Author: Aged Whine & Cheese Reply #7 Posted: Sep 18 2009 12:23AM

Aaaah, now I see. I rather doubt I will be attending any tournament in The Chuk. I didn't even travel to Seattle which is a shorter drive / trip. Good luck with it and good luck to everyone playing.

Author: S. Edwards Reply #12 Posted: Sep 19 2009 7:27PM

Did you play him before you got 65th is semi pro singles? I didn't see the chart

Author: The Next One. Reply #13 Posted: Sep 20 2009 12:49AM

If you only knew what I went through the night and the night before that...

Author: Darcy Reply #14 Posted: Sep 20 2009 1:29AM

Speaking of which, I don't have a partner for open doubles, if anyone needs one, shoot me a message on here or grab me on facebook. Thanks!

Eric, you flying from Van or what?

Author: subcult36 Reply #17 Posted: Sep 20 2009 9:27PM

Add my name to the list of folks that need an OD partner. Preferably someone who can play both fwd and goalie (I get bored playing just one position ).

Also would be ideal if they were ranked the same level as me - don't ask me what rank that is though for this tourney.

I'm a semi-pro in VIFA, and an Amateur in IFP.

It will be nice to see you again Sean, I don't think we've seen each other since that epic Foosapalooza finals 4 years ago when it was Mario & you versus Tony L. & me.

Looking forward to seeing the best foosers in Canada in a couple of weeks.

Author: subcult36 Reply #19 Posted: Sep 20 2009 10:12PM

Same here Garry, but has it only been 4 years? Seems like longer, but maybe that's b/c I've had a couple kids since then... Foosapalooza was a blast, and this event looks to be very memorable too.

Author: Linda Reply #20 Posted: Sep 20 2009 10:55PM

I'll play OD with someone if they'd like to play with me. Otherwise, i'll just drive up to Edmonton on Saturday instead of Friday night. Oh..Open women's too

Author: domi nate Reply #21 Posted: Sep 21 2009 10:24AM

Anybody going down from Hay River or Yellowknife?? I need a ride.

Author: foosghost Reply #22 Posted: Sep 21 2009 1:21PM

I'm flying out of Victoria - not the exact times i was looking for, but they're direct, so that's cool.

You coming Moya? Canadian National Women's Championship title is up for grabs. and men's too. If you think you can 'hang' B-)

Author: moyatielens Reply #23 Posted: Sep 22 2009 2:13PM

Naw, no foos for me. Disenchanted.

Good luck to you and Kane.

Author: subculture Reply #24 Posted: Sep 22 2009 9:22PM

I've found a partner for OD, thanks to everyone who was considering playing with me, see you guys soon.

Author: Kent Reply #25 Posted: Sep 26 2009 12:18AM

Thinking of coming to Edmonton. I have not played much but my game is still OK. I even have a roll-over which can score as well my deference is respectable with good shots from back. Of course some of you know my game so you do not need to listen to me explain my skill level.

Any takers at the Pro level?

I can play forward and goal.

Worst case, I will just come and win singles. haha

Found a partner so see you in Edmonton.

Author: Tim Reply #27 Posted: Sep 27 2009 1:35PM

I am looking for a Pro partner as well.

I have took a few years off, so my game isn't perfect, but my 5 and defense are solid, and when my shot is on the ball goes in the net, and I am pretty easy to get along with (I think).

Author: University of Foos Reply #28 Posted: Sep 27 2009 2:33PM

Tim's a great last minute pickup for anyone interested, and as he said, easy to get along with.

Glad to hear you'll be coming out buddy.

Author: Aged Whine & Cheese Reply #29 Posted: Sep 27 2009 2:36PM

Eric,
I appreciate the accolades but I think you are mistaking which Tim posted. Post #27 was Wilson. I'm the Tim who is easy to get along with - just ask my Mom and my one friend.
Tim
