I thought I'd start a thread about it since I'd like to chip in my two cents. A thread will pop up about the tournament anyways. Fresh off my flight I wanna make sure I don't forget.

I have nothing to say but positive things about the tournament. Will and co. did a great job running the tournament. The venue looked very professional from the banners to the software system etc. (except maybe the minor mishap in the thursday dyp ;) ). All the tables played great except table 11 was garbage. This really had nothing to do with the tournament director but it was obviously one of the tables that was at worlds where the bars were way too low (I could hit a push side rollover and hit the bar every single time with a wide open net). Will, I suggest you contact Dave Courington to have them send you a replacement top for that one! They shipped an entirely new cabinet to me before at their own cost. Sorry about the rant, it's not really a complaint but just a suggestion so you can get it fixed?

It was great to meet everyone and put a face to a name. I think I met a lot of people and re-acquainted myself with others. I think I talked to just about everyone there. There was some pretty good talent and I definitely look forward to attending again if Will wants to put up with us again :)

Thanks for getting this started Nelson.

Nothing but great things to say about the tournament. Will, Ben & company did an awesome job! Very professional... From the signage to the computer charts. You guys rock!

It was great to see everyone again and meet a bunch of new people. This quality of event wil ensure that foosball in Canada will grow as a sport.

Thanks for a great event... had a blast!

Couldn't agree more. It was great, as a rookie, to get out and see how some of the top foosers in the world play. The fact that everyone is so open to passing on tips is good to see and will definitely help the game overall as new players are drawn in.

As for the event itself, I have no complaints at all, everyone that was apart of the event staff did a great job organizing everything, especially for their first time hosting. I look forward to future events here in edmonton!

I totally agreee. Will and company did an awesome job, and like i said on my facebook status,

"good people, good turnout, good organizers, good times!"

I wasnt aware of it before, but Will has lots of help, and many more deserve to be thanked as well - as i'm sure Will will agree (and has already said).

If Edmonton Foosball League can keep it up, i expect edmonton to be one of the major foosball centers in Canada - looking forward to the next one.

Great job EFL! and everyone else that helped make the event a memorable one.
